Calzone is a type of pizza that is folded in half before cooking to contain a filling. Stromboli is a type of rolled turnover filled with various Italian cheeses and cold cuts and/or vegetables. Garlic Knots are made from left over pizza dough. They were developed in the 1940s in Brooklyn. |
